  • What Is an Anal Douche?

An anal douche is a device that is used to squeeze water into your rectum in order to clean out the contents of your back passage. Most anal douches are comprised of two sections:

    1. The squeezable bulb.
    2. The nozzle.

The squeezable bulb is filled with liquid (usually warm water) and then the nozzle is screwed onto the top. When used it evacuates the contents of your butt so that you are left with a nice squeaky clean bottom, ready for anal play or anal sex.

So, how exactly can you use an anal douche?

    Why Use an Anal Douche?

Anal douching is a common practice done by both men and women. The purpose of an enema for anal is to rid your butt contents of all matter and leave the anal canal clean.

Your anus contains bacteria and other germs that can cause infections. In fact, these germs can actually travel from one area of the body to another. So, it's essential for you to keep it clean.

An anal douche is a product designed to help you wash out your ass without having to go through a full-blown shower. You simply insert a small tube into your rectum and squeeze the water in, then squat over the toilet or jump in the shower and release the contents.

The water will work its way down your colon, flushing out all of the matter that you've collected in there.

What Is the Difference Between an Anal Douche and an Enema?

This is a common question we get asked. Essentially an anal douche is a product that delivers an enema. The term enema is the process of applying an anal cleansing to your body. If you're interested in finding out more, keep reading.

Enemas can also be used if you have a medical condition like constipation, or are having trouble getting rid of gas.

    Why Use Personal Hygiene Products?

You might be surprised by how many ways you can clean your body. You can wash with soap, have a shower, bathe, wipe, scrub, soak, rinse, and so on. The main reason we do this is that if we don't clean our bodies regularly we are at risk of getting sick from natural harmful bacteria that grow on and in our bodies.

There are lots of different methods for cleansing your body. Some of them are more effective than others. For example, a bath is great for relaxing, but it doesn't work very well at removing dirt and bacteria from your skin.

Do I Need to Use Lube with an Anal Douche?

If you're wondering whether you should be using a lubricant when inserting a douche into your anus, here is the answer.

It's not a requirement to use any type of lube. However, if you want to prevent discomfort, we recommend a generous portion of water or silicone-based lube be applied to the whole surface area of the nozzle before you insert it.

Some people worry that the lubricants used on toys might be harmful to their skin. That's why they prefer to avoid them. However, these products are safe to use.

There are many different kinds of lubes available on the market. Some people like water-based, silicone-based lubes, while others prefer oils or natural versions.
